You can’t get to sleep.
You rub your tired eyes, amazed and angered at yourself. You got to bed at a late time, true, but is this some kind of twisted revenge for not getting to bed earlier? The clock reads 6:49AM. You heave a sigh, then wrap yourself in the blanket that seems to be useless in it task. You still have enough time to sleep before you got ready for class today. However, your body just isn’t having it.
By the time 9:30AM rolls around, you start to doze off, but your infuriatingly tardy slumber is interrupted by the buzzing of your phone. You crack an eye open to see a text.
Good morning, sweetheart! I love you : )
As thoughtful as it is of your sweet boyfriend to be your alarm like he always does, you didn’t even have the energy to smile. Summoning all the strength you can, you pick up

As Levi’s girlfriend, it kind of bothered you that you couldn’t get him to blush. Although this was a rather odd thought to have while his friends were over to meet you, it really concerned you. You sat alone at the dinner table, watching Levi chat with his six friends. You weren’t much of a talker and preferred to avoid any social interaction as much as you could. Since it was for your boyfriend’s sake, you’d try and get to know his friends. They might be able to take your mind off of inappropriate things.
You snap out of your self-imposed isolation once you hear Levi call your name.
“Come on,” he ordered, patting the seat next to him. You nodded, silently making your way into the living room. The number of eyes on you were overwhelming enough to make you want to die to avoid the nervousness building in your stomach. Despite feeling antsy,

You had ended up in the hospital with a brain hemorrhage; a little parting gift from the damned burglar. The emergency surgery was a success, and you had been recovering ever since, attending therapy and performing tests for the doctors to observe your progress. During that time, you were visited by friends, family, and coworkers, including your next door neighbor.Bring It To Me|Modern AU [Reader x Thief!Levi] 02 by ~The-Dapper-Crane
"Thanks again, Marco. I really appreciate you taking the time to take care of Pietari while I'm gone."
The young man sitting at your bedside smiled warmly. "It's no trouble at all, (Name). Just focus on getting better soon."
Marco Bodt was this sweet college student who lived next door to you. About a year ago, on the day of his move-in, Marco had knocked on your door to sheepishly ask if you had any tools he could borrow for assembling some furniture. That sweet, smiling face – especially those adorable freckles – and polite nature both made it imp
Bring It To Me|Modern AU [Reader x Thief!Levi] 01You were an auctioneer, spouting prices and sending bidders off with valuable artworks they can use to pretty up their mansions. To you, the bids were nothing but meaningless numbers. The job wasn't anything special. However, a surprise heist lands you an encounter with one of the world's renowned thieves, reminding you that your career had more opportunities to offer than you first thought.Bring It To Me|Modern AU [Reader x Thief!Levi] 01 by ~The-Dapper-Crane
It was, by no means, a simple process.
In the event that a robbery attempt occurs at one of the auctions, you are to discreetly take the most valuable artwork back to the storage room, put it in a bag, and transport it to the fast-drop slot with the help of two security guards. Your mind must be calm, your movements swift and precise. This security procedure was only the most advanced after a long history of art thefts, growing more and more capable of preventing the criminals from even touching a single painting. Back then any one could steal a painting, but now, thieves had to be very expe
